![]() starcraft 2 mastery guide The title "The Perfect Zerg Build Order" is bit perplexing especially for an experienced Starcraft 2 player because they know it perfectly that there is no build order for any situations. But there is a base build order that is to be used by every Zerg player to start the game and after that depending on the type of game you are playing you should change it. So, to help you, here is a guide that will make you aware about the base build order for Zerg that you must always start off with. Before you move forward you should know about some common mistakes that are often made by Starcraft 2 Zerg players with their build orders. One of the biggest weaknesses is the anti air for every Zerg player so to handle such situation it is better to upgrade to a lair as quickly as possible and after that you should try to have some anti air going. Moreover, it is suggested that you should just skip roaches because they are hardly used on battlenet and on the other hand skipping roaches is a perfect idea. Build order: Till the time you don’t get 9 drones you should always keep on making drones, after you complete making 9 drones you should try to build overlord. After you complete making overlord you should again try to build four more drones and after that you should try making a spawning pool as well. While the spawning pool is building make one extractor, and you should try to put three drones on it and after putting the drones you should again continue making drones. After you complete with spawning pool then you should start with a queen and try making three more drones until you hit eighteen supplies. So, after this you should try to make another overlord and from here it is totally up to you what you do to win the game. It is suggested that from here you should try to pump out a handful of zerglings to go scout and harass the enemy till the time you upgrade to a lair for hydralisks. It is always a better idea to expand until your have about 27 or supply. Download shokz starcraft 2 guide Comments02/23/2012 4:03am
